Saudah Mirza, Outreach Manager
Saudah Mirza was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She finished high school as class valedictorian, and then went on to graduate with honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Near Eastern Studies with an emphasis in Arabic. She was the recipient of the Employer Advisory Council scholarship for business majors and upon graduation, the Delbert J. Duncan Marketing Award from the Haas School of Business. Saudah currently works as the E-Marketing Manager at a mid-sized book publisher in Berkeley. She started her study of traditional Islam with Shaykh Hamza Yusuf in 1997, and since then has taken a number of classes at Zaytuna Institute with Shaykh Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zaid Shakir, at SunniPath Academy with Shaykh Faraz Rabbani and Shaykh Hamza Karamali, and privately with Ustadha Hedaya Hartford. Saudah manages SunniPath's Outreach department and has also served as a teaching assistant. She lives with her family in San Ramon, California.
