In Thanks to Ustadha Zaynab Ansari

Posted by Ashraf Muneeb, Dean of the Academy on May 7th, 2009

Assalamu Alaikum,

We are saddened to announce that Ustadha Zaynab Ansari will no longer be teaching with SunniPath at this time. All of us will miss her greatly, and we pray that she is in a position to return very soon.

Ustadha Zaynab has been a key part of SunniPath for many years. Initially a teacher answering questions on the Answers service, she joined as a full-time instructor in Fall 2007. Students who have studied with her can attest to her great knowledge, wisdom, eloquence, and patience.

May Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala bless Ustadha Zaynab and her family, and grant her tawfiq in all of her endeavors.

Please join me in thanking Ustadha Zaynab for all of her hard work and dedication.

We will all miss Ustadha Zaynab a lot. She was a wonderful teacher and a great person to work with. She is one of those people who practice what they teach-inspiring you by their example-Mashah’Allah.

May Allah reward her for all the work she did with the SunniPath. We hope to see her teach again.

Salam,

May Allah (SWT) reward Ustadha Zaynab for all of her contributions to SunniPath. Her teaching, as well as her service to SunniPath’s Q and A service is very much appreciated. Insha’Allah i hope she will return

Bismillah

Sh Afifi, may Allah increase him, says that anyone who has ever taught him is like a father to him. So Ustadha Zaynab is as a mother to those of us she taught.
We hope she keeps us in her prayers and heart. May Allah bless her and increase her and her family.

Assalaam-u-alaikum wr wb,

Ustadha Zaynab taught the very first course I took with SunniPath. It was an amazing experience.

I feel very sad to learn we will not be able to benefit from her wisdom here on SunniPath, indeed a great loss to us.

I pray success for her future and commend her on her service to the Ummah and her family mash’Allah.

You will be very much missed. I pray you return to SunniPath soon insh’Allah.

May Allah bless Ustadha Zaynab and reward her for all her good work. She answered some of my questions on Sunni Path and I gained much comfort from her answers. She will be missed on Sunni Path. Jazakallah khair.

Ustadha Zaynab will be missed by us all. She always gave her best in her work and gave students individualized attention. Her wisdom continues to aspire many with the many Answers on SunniPath and we pray that she returns back sooner than later.

May Allah bless Ustadha Zaynab and her family with tawfiq and nur in all their endeavors.

Assalaamualaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuhu,

Ustadha Zaynab taught the very first course I took at Sunnipath (Basic Arabic Reading) and motivated me to enroll for more , Alhamdulliah !!
She always encouraged each and every student in our class. Even when she corrected our pronounciations she did it in the most beautiful manner possible which was always followed by encouraging words.
I hope she returns to Sunnipath soon and continue to enlighten us with her knowledge.

May Allah (swt) bless her and her family and ease all their difficulties.

As-salamu Alaikum,

I had Ustadha Zaynab as my Teacher for one course. I was hoping to be her student in the future courses as well. It was very shocking and sad for me to hear that she will be no longer teaching at SunniPath. I have always adorned her eloquence and being systematic in everything. I pray that she will soon return InshaAllah !

May Allah (SWT) bless our dear Ustadha and her family for all the hardwork she took in making the courses a beautiful learning experience for us all…Ameen.

Ustadha Zaynab will be greatly missed by all. I was her TA for HDT101 for Spring2009, and in her class I discovered a teacher who was both dedicated to her students and the knowledge she was conveying to them.

Although I was technically a TA, I felt more like a student because I learned so much from her in that one semester of her class. She widened and deepened my understanding of Islam, and that is a huge feat to accomplish with one class, but she did.

I will always remember that she was always ready to say a kind word and went out of her way to encourage me in my TA duties and give me compliments on my work, as it was one of my hardest semesters with TAing 3 classes.

Ustadha Zaynab is a very kind hearted, dedicated and hard working teacher, and insha’Allah I hope that SunniPath hasn’t lost her forever, and that she will return soon.

I will miss Ustadha Zaynab a lot. I wish I could have her as an instructor for another course. She is so kind and has a vast amount of knowledge, mashaAllah. May Allah reward her and her family with the best.

She always considered every question that each student asked. If it weren’t for her beautiful character, I don’t know how I would have even attempted to speak up in the forums that I participated in. Because of my experience as having her as an instructor and having learned SO MUCH in her class [alhamdulillah!] I am determined to continue taking SunniPath courses. I hope she returns as well. :)

May Allah give her the tawfeeq to do more and more good ameen.

Ustadha Zaynab was my teacher for HDT101 class. She is kind and very patient, and her teaching method encourages us students to participate. She really put sunna to practice.

May Allah shower mercy to Ustadha Zaynab and her family.

Bismillah.

“Sh Afifi, may Allah increase him, says that anyone who has ever taught him is like a father to him. So Ustadha Zaynab is as a mother to those of us she taught.”

I think al faqir has summed it up beautifully (Comment #3) as Ustadha Zaynab is definitely like a mother to all the students she taught. She touched the lives of whoever she taught with her wisdom, knowledge, and compassion. I was blessed to have been her student in one SP class, and I pray that she return to SP, as we all miss her greatly, if that is what is best for her. May Allah preserve her, and continue to make her a means for the spreading of sacred knowledge.

Aameen.
