Dar al-Tawfiq: Dar al-Tawfiq courses are alhamdulillah going exceptionally well. Two of the courses have just ended, with two new courses starting this week. So far, comments from students include “This was my first Dar al-Tawfiq/SunniPath class. I was looking forward to it beforehand and I’m more than satisfied.” and “I am really impressed! Really!” and “Thank you. Dar al-Tawfiq is a rahma and a blessing from Allah.” We’re looking forwad to all the upcoming courses and new incoming students.

STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS

We’d like to welcome two of our newest faculty and staff members:

Shaykh Sulayman Van Ael has joined as an instructor in the Arabic and Tajweed departments. One of his first projects will be developing our tajweed program. A Belgian convert, he memorized the entire Qur’an and studied Arabic, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Mustalah Hadith, and Aqida in Belgium, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan. Shaykh Sulayman then travelled to Jordan where he studied Usul al-Deen at Zarqa University, Hadith, and Arabic at Jordan University. He is authorized in 6 of the 7 recitations of the Qur’an and will shortly receive authorization in the 7th. Shaykh Sulayman is an official imam and Friday prayer speaker of the Jordanian government and has taught at Balqa’ University, ‘Anwar ‘Ulema Institute, and several local mosques.

Naseem Vora has joined as a manager in our business development and public relations department. She has a teaching certificate in adult education and Master’s degree in marketing & management. Naseem has over 10 years of experience in education, fundraising, relationship building, and public relations.
