Kawsar Ahmed, Board Member, SunniPath Foundation
Although my work for SunniPath is meager and most inadequate, it is the mere association with the light-giving lamp that motivates me. From the beginning of the e-mail forum to the present status of online center for authentic Islamic learning, it is the noble goal of spreading knowledge that has attracted those who want to learn and those who wants to teach. What is motivating, is the chance to serve these two groups, learn and practice authentic knowledge, and the hope of using it to escape punishment in the day of judgment. Even the most barren rock that comes in contact with water may grow green moss on it, likewise it is our hope to be near the eternal life giving water, which are our beloved teachers. SunniPath makes it possible to be in their company no matter how far we physically are.

If one were to ask to name the most special part of the body, what can really be said? It is the whole that serves our eternal needs different parts for different needs. With that said however, it is the Q&A section that waters our soul and provide guidance of light in the midst our darkest hour. It is due to the dedication of our scholars, translators and support workers that we may find answers that illuminates our hearts and guides our way to Allah, most high. May Allah preserve our scholars, rewards those who supports them and open our heats to HIS mercy.

I wanted always to do something for Islam through my field. And I see people here who would do anything to help SP to continue and upgrade especially Sidi Imran, this is something I don’t see in other companies. There are other people here like this, working for Allah.

Farid Dingle, Associate Teacher
What motivates me to work for SunniPath is the opportunity to work, study and soak up the Baraka of the neighborhood all at once, not to mention the hope of establishing Islamic scholarship in the West and giving people a strong relationship with their deen. The most special part of SunniPath to me, after Umm Ahmad’s desserts, is our connection to the scholarly tradition of Ahl Sunnah wa l-Jamah.

Awe Sidi Farid, that is not fair. You cannot have all the desserts to yourself. Got to share some :)
