Thoughts from SunniPath Students (Part 2)
*Any students who would like to send in their reflections for posting can do so by emailing [outreach @ sunnipath.com].
From SunniPath student Hammad Din of Canada:
SunniPath has been a cornerstone of my life since 2004 with it’s Q & A service and it’s online Academy. As a student who has taken a few courses, the course content’s practical relevance to everyday life situations is unmatched. In the west, there is scarcity of programs which can take you though the basics of Islam while using reliable Islamic scholarship in a structured fashion. Most of the teachers at SunniPath have lived in the west, which means that their courses and answers are considerate of the realties that students face in the west. Moreover the professionalism and constant improvement that one sees in the presentation and content of the Website/Academy is amazing. I have had the honor of working the SunniPath staff for more than an year now. Their mannerisms and patience has impressed me each and every time I have dealt with them. It is inspiring because they live, love and practice what they preach. Through SunniPath, I have been able to develop personal relationships with scholars. One of my most “moving” SunniPath experiences was when I saw Shaykh Faraz Rabbani in person for the first time in late 2006 ( after having taken his courses for two years).
SunniPath has not only increased my love of knowledge and for those who carry it, but it has also made apparent my lack of knowledge and my need of it. May Allah reward all those connected to this amazing organization. Allahumma Ameen!
