assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah,

With the Milad al-Nabi coming soon as well as the Loving the Beloved conference, let’s take a minute to reflect on Shaykh Hamza’s blog post about true love by thinking of some of the reasons you personally love the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

Reply by submitting a comment with one of the reasons you love the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

We will be reflecting on some of these reasons at the conference.

as salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.

simply put, i love the Beloved of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, because his entire being is mercy. everything he is, everything he did, stems from this, as Allah ta ‘ala said, his is a mercy to the entire creation.

Assalamu’Alikum,

There are so many reasons why I love prophet Muhammad (saw)The most important is that He (saw) is the beloved of Allah (swt).

From the Quran: “If you obey the Prophet, you obey Me.”

“If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you.

wassalam
p.s Masha’Allah, I have learnt much from sunnipath, May Allah reward you greatly, Ameen!

salaam,

Obviously the sacrifices he, upon him peace and blessings, made for the Ummah. The strong fabric of his sincerity and truthfulness to God.

wasalaam,
Fedwa

Bismillah

As-salamu’alaikum wa rahmatullah

Among the reasons why this broken soul loves and deeply longs for al-Habib al-Mustafa (peace and blessing be upon him) is because of his perfection (in servitude to Allah Almighty, appearance, character and in manners when interacting with other creations of Allah), his sublime rank and station (he is the most beloved creation to Allah), and the fact that the Beloved (upon him be peace and blessings) is a manifestation of Allah’s Divine attributes of affection (Ra’uf) and mercy (Rahim).

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is beautiful and perfect in every way, in all things imaginable ma sha’ Allah. It is impossible to not love a creation as beautiful and as perfect as he (upon him be peace and blessings).

Oh Allah, send Your Mercy and Peace perpetually upon Your Beloved, the One who invited us to You, the One whom You have bestowed upon us as Your Gift!

Was-salam

I love him- SalAllahu t’ala alaihi wasallam, becausethat it is from him I’ve begun to learn how to be a real man.

I’m sorry my comment should read:
because it is from him that I’ve begun

Bismillah.

Salam,

I love Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, because of his love for all of us, and the blessings that come with being part of his Ummah, well-described in “The Lives of Man” by Imam Haddad:

‘…Musa said, “O Lord! I find in the Tablets a nation whose people who ask forgiveness for their sins; when they raise their food to their mouths it does not reach their stomachs before they are forgiven; they start (eating) with Your Name and end with Your praise, let them be my nation!” But He said: “They are the nation of Ahmad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)…’

One last important note: out of proper adab for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, our Ustadh recommended that we spell out p.b.u.h. and s.a.w., instead of using abbreviations when we mention his name in writing.

May Allah increase our love for Him and His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Ameen.

Jazak Allah Khair.

Salaam,

I asked my daughter, Maryam, the question and she said.

“He is sweet and kind and generous.”

“He did everything to show Islam is a true religion.”

“He did his best in everything he could do.”

“He smiles and his smile is pretty.” :)

“He is the best Prophet, or leader of the Prophets.”

“I love Prophet Muhammad(Peace and Blessings upon him.)”

wasalaam,
Fedwa on behalf of Maryam.

assalamu ‘alaykum,

That’s masha’Allah very sweet Maryam :)

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

As-salamu alaykum,

No one’s comment pleased us as much as little Maryam’s (May Allah preserve her and all our children).
A line of Burda summerizes much of our love for him (Peace be upon him):
He is the one whose form and meaning were perfected;
Then he was chosen as a beloved by the Originator of Humanity.
