HIGHLIGHTS
Early Registration Rates: Spring 2008 registration is now open. Register early to take advantage of discounted early registration rates. Helpdesk Taskforce: A new taskforce has been created to address the quality of Helpdesk support. Enhancements in progress include increasing the number of FAQs, improving the tracking of support tickets, increasing the speed in which inquiries are responded to, and sending follow-up surveys to ensure students are satisfied with the support they’ve received. Upcoming Time Management Session: Students registered for the Spring 2008 semester can attend a special workshop on time management on January 27th. Details insha’Allah will be sent to registered students in the coming week. Free 3-Week Course Fills Quickly: There has been an overwhelming response to SunniPath’s 3-week course on the Hadith Jibril with Ustadha Zaynab Ansari. Students eager to try out SunniPath courses have quickly filled the over 400 spots in the course. The first live session will be this weekend. SunniPath hopes to offer the course again in the next few months for anyone who wasn’t able to register in time. Conference for University Students: An upcoming conference for university students will be announced soon, insha’Allah. |

STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS Shaykh Sohail Hanif has joined SunniPath as a full-time faculty member. Previously part-time, he will be developing some exciting new courses to be offered in the near future insha’Allah. Brother Abdullah Totten has been named the Director of Student Services, leading a new department that will be committed to perfecting the student experience and providing important resources to students as they go through their courses at SunniPath. Brother Abedelhadi Shajrawi has been promoted to Director of Technology. Bringing experience working at the largest online Arab community Maktoob.com, Brother Abedelhadi will be leading the technology team and developing technical solutions to improve the student experience. Sister Sawsan Nashaat has joined SunniPath as an Information Designer in the e-Learning department. She will be assisting teachers in developing slide presentations for their courses Sister Saja Ross has joined SunniPath as an Assistant Register, and will be responsible for providing support for the student registration process. |
