Every time I hear this lecture I feel like giving up my laziness in studies and am inspired to actually try and read things more, not just on islam, but in general. It really makes me think how I have allowed myself to slip intellectually and have become reliant on entertainment during everyday life.

Assalamu Alaykum,

This lecture was so inspiring and informative. Going over the Arabic verses alone was beautiful, but I really liked how we also looked at "the Meaning of Everything", and Neil Postman, and generally just reflected on how our comprehension of good language has atrophied in the modern age. I feel really encouraged to learn Arabic now.
