New Courses This Semester

In case you haven’t yet had the opportunity to browse our Summer catalog, we have five new courses on the list.

Alhamdulillah, we have the next level course as part of Miftah curriculum for introducing Arabic:

Intermediate Arabic 1Intermediate Arabic 1
Noun-Sentence Hadiths
Teacher: Shaykh Hamza Karamali
Go beyond the basics and apply introductory Arabic theory to read, understand, and grammatically analyze a hundred noun-sentence hadiths.

We have one new course in the Beliefs department, which teaches a celebrated text on Islamic Belief:

Tahawai's Manual ExplainedTahawi’s Manual of Belief Explained
Understanding and Strengthening Your Faith
Teacher: Shaykh Faraz Rabbani
Through studying the most celebrated and well-known classical manual on Islamic beliefs, deepen and strengthen your understanding of the core Islamic beliefs in order to both rationally explain proofs and strengthen your own faith.

We’ll also be covering another famous text, Imam Haddad’s The Lives of Man:

The Lives of ManThe Lives of Man
Reflecting on the Journey of the Soul
Teacher: Shaykh Abdul-Kareem Yahyaa
Prepare for eternal life through becoming aware of and reflecting on the five stages of the soul’s journey: life before conception; life in this world; life in the grave; the Day of Judgment; and the Garden or the Fire.

Shaykh Nuh Keller will be continuing his live readings from the Aphorisms of Ibn Ata ‘Illah:

Understanding the Place of Ihsan in Islam
Teacher: Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller
Through live lessons with a living master of spirituality, get a taste for Sufism’s teachings through readings from the Hikam of Imam Ibn ‘Ata’ Illah. Part III offers the same introduction as Part I and II but continues with different sections of the Hikam.

And finally, a new short course based on our popular Journey to Allah course:

A Six-Week Short Course
Teacher: Habib Ali al-Jifry and Shaykh Abdul-Karim Yahyaa
This six-week course introduces you to traveling the path to Allah, including building sincerity, preserving the inspirational drive, repentance, and adhering to the Sacred Law.

Alhamdulillah, it’s always a blessing to be able to add more courses to our list in order to more benefit from the vastness of knowledge that has been passed down to us.
